law 171-07 on Special Incentives to the
Pensioners and Financiers, which grants
big benefits to move its residence to
Dominican Republic.
Who can recourse of the law 171-07 on
Special Incentives to the outside Pensioners
and Financiers ?
- All persons, foreign or Dominican,
that are beneficiaries of a monthly
revenue corresponding to an old-age
pension of an official organism or
private company of foreign origin,
and that want to move its normal residence
to the Dominican Republic. In addition,
not only the pensioners can turn benefited
by this law, but also the financiers
who have stable revenues, which principal
origin is foreign is either by
- Deposits and / or investments
in established banks abroad
- Originated from real estate
- From bank institutions or financial
foreign Investments in companies
established abroad
- Investments in companies established
abroad
- Benefits obtained by investments
in bonds issued in foreign currency
- Interests, revenue or dividends
of real estate investments or real
estate agencies done in Dominican
Republic, which its principal has
been generated principally abroad
What are
the requirements demanded by the law of
financiers and pensioners?
- The pensioners and financiers who
want to benefit from the facilities
that the law allows them, must receive
a monthly revenue not less than USD$
1.500,00 and the financier will have
to perceive a monthly minimum amount
USD$ 2.000,00, plus another USD$ 250,00
for every dependent person.
Every person will be able to benefit
from the above mentioned law without
demanding a minimum or maximum age.
